The daily egg prices suggested by NECC, on its official website or through any other medium (including verbal, print and digital media) are merely suggestive and not mandatory. The suggested prices are published solely for the reference and information of the trade and industry. NECC does not by itself or through any person enforce compliance or adherence with such suggested egg prices in any manner whatsoever.

We are not NECC

India Egg Rate is an independent archive. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the National Egg Co-ordination Committee. We republish their published figures and attribute them on every page.

Prices are a reference, not a quote

The rates here are NECC’s suggested wholesale prices. They are not an offer to buy or sell, and they are not what any particular trader, shop or supermarket will charge you. Actual prices vary with quantity, quality, location and the day.

Any retail figure we show is an estimate expressed as a range, derived from the wholesale rate. We do not survey shop prices and we do not present inferred numbers as measured ones.

Accuracy

We take correctness seriously — it is the only reason to use this site over any other. We write nothing to our archive when a fetch or a parse fails, and we show the date of the rate on every page so you always know what you are looking at.

Even so, this data is provided as is, without warranty. Do not make a commercial decision on the strength of a number here without checking it against NECC’s own sheet. If you find a discrepancy, please tell us — we will fix it and say what went wrong.
